2023-2024 Muse Scholar Peer Leaders

Kai Barbee-Franco

I am a sophomore Muse double-majoring in Theatre and English and I am planning to minor in Film.  I have a deep love for books, and color theory and composition in film. Outside of my love for these things, I am a traditional artist and currently enjoy creating collaborative collages and illustrative pieces with my friends. Some things that I also like are reading and analyzing my favorite manga, listening to music, and making food for my friends.

Melody Garcia

I am a senior Muse double majoring in Political Science and Economics with a mini-concentration in Statistics. I’m in JFEW and the Thomas Hunter Honors program and an external member of the Accounting Society at Hunter. I’m a lover of musical theater and I collect magnets of each Broadway show I’ve been to on my fridge. I’m here to give back to the Muse community that helped me grow when I first started college.

Noelle Bartolotta

I am a sophomore Muse majoring in Studio Art with a concentration in drawing. I’m in the process of completing the Arts Management and Leadership Certificate program. I like to draw, paint, and make digital art. Currently, I am really interested in mixed media and combining different mediums like photography, video art, and sculpture.

Reagan Grant

I am a sophomore Muse majoring in Media Studies. I love writing about art and culture and recently, I’ve picked up writing about politics. I’ve worked on the Muse Zine and I currently write for The Envoy, and plan to start my own publication next fall.

Tristan Montanez

I am a sophomore Muse working towards an Art History BA and an Arts Management and Leadership Certificate. My discipline is visual arts with an interest in cartooning, drawing, digital art, and crafts. I’ve tabled at ComicCon and MoCCA Fest with the High School of Art and Design to sell my own prints and stickers.

Victory Ogunnaya

I am a junior Muse, majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing and minoring in Music. I love to read, write, and listen to music and my mode of artistic expression is writing. One interesting thing about me is that I have a library full of recommendations of things to read.
